She had lived in Ripley county for many years. She died on her 63rd birthday. Buried in Oakridge cemetery in Doniphan at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Evans of the Methodist Church officiated. Leaves two daughters, Mrs. Eliza Burnham of Poplar Bluff and Mrs. Olive Rife of Nashville, TN, and three sons, Sherman W. of Minneapolis, MN, John H. of Kansas City and Charles of Savonsburg, KS. All attended the funeral."
