Bonnie Adams, 70, of Doniphan died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at her residence.  Mrs. Adams was born April 7, 1938, in Doniphan. She was a retired nurse's aide. Mrs. Adams liked walking, gardening, taking care of flowers and visiting with friends. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Doniphan.  She had been married to Bill Adams at Doniphan and he preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 2003. [Surviving are one son, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one sister.] Besides her husband, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Timmons and Effie Bond Timmons; four sisters, Clara Ormsby, Dorothy Stiber, Algia Lucas and Viola Cope, and; three brothers, Jimmy Timmons, Cecil Timmons and Johnny Timmons.  Funeral services were held Friday, May 9, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
