Vivian Marie Beaty, 80, of Doniphan, Missouri, died
Monday, November 24, 2008, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mrs. Beaty was born December 14, 1927, in Doniphan. She was a housewife and was
of the Christian faith. She enjoyed fishing in her spare time.
On October 27, 1947, she was married to Luster Lewis "Pop" Beaty in Pocahontas,
Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1989.
Mrs. Beaty is survived by one son; David Everrett Beaty and wife, Judith Ann, of
Doniphan; two granddaughters, Christy Mitchell of Naylor, Missouri, and Shannon
Sumner of Pocahontas, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren and two step
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ruth Yandell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri,
Luanna Gordon of Sullivan, Missouri, and Bonnie Ann Scrivner of Phoenix,
Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Jackson and Alma Mae (Butts)
Dudley; two sisters, Mattie Sue Dudley and Dorothy Gunter; and one brother,
George Jackson Dudley.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at
the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00
p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to be in the Price Cemetery.
